An illustrated lecture by John Hunt
A story of the North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Group and its relationship with the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Back in 1970, the NELPG had two main line steam locomotives, but nowhere to run them, and the NYMR had a railway line with no suitable steam engines, hence ‘a marriage of convenience’ that has endured to this day.
An illustrated lecture, sometimes serious, sometimes amusing by John Hunt.
